The projects shown are developed throughout the Architecture career at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá. Each of these has a social focus and seeks to facilitate the productive aspect in each of them.

SWAP

Project developed from the analysis and research on the Middle Magdalena basin, which develops a replicable exchange system, not only of products, but also of information and culture.

 

It intends to reactivate the middle basin of the Magdalena and rescue the properties of the place, as the articulating axis of the country. It takes up the history of the place and works on it to solve the problems present in the sector

DEGREE PROJECT: PRESERVATION OF THE AGRICULTURAL CULTURE OF THE POTATO. CULTURAL LANDSCAPE IN MOTAVITA, BOYACÁ, COLOMBIA.

It seeks to generate, through architecture and design, spaces and objects that attract and give sufficient reasons to indigenous communities to return to their lands or those designated with similar characteristics,  in order to awaken their sense of rootedness in the territory and reinforce their cultural identity. 

FORMAL AND INFORMAL LINKS

The enhancement of cultural heritage as a tool for community development in Motavita is proposed. Within the heritage, the recovery and management of cultural landscapes is proposed as a resource for the conservation of agrarian culture in Motavita, Boyacá, since it constitutes an important population within the territory that is at risk of disappearance, from an architectural and territorial perspective.

 

This popular housing project aims to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Caracolí neighborhood by strengthening the pre-existing links of the  same for the development of housing and public spaces necessary for members of the community. To the  generate these links, links will be developed with the city, making them part of it, and at the same time being differentiated  for her culture.
